It won't be long till renewable energy sources will supply over half of the country's energy needs. The amount of non-renewable energy use has declined and renewable sources have replaced them. Wind and solar farms will be scattered all over the country. Renewable energy replacements instead of gasoline and oil products. Photovoltaic energy and home energy plants will provide the bulk of our residential electricity. Geothermal is no longer considered to be just a technical term, but is understood and used by most home owners for their heating and cooling.

Will it happen? The answer lies with the people who only have to encourage government to set up the framework for this to happen. Many people have been pushing this idea and the support is overwhelming. It is our future, we just need to let the leaders of the country know it. The government must lay the groundwork for this energy shift. We need to conserve energy, protect the environment and utilize renewable sources. It is the individual within all of us that will make this a reality. Keep pushing the idea.
